The course seeks to expose to the students the notions and particularities of Commercial Law in general, as well as the main subject of commerce and initiate the review of legal acts especially developed by this branch of Law. Commercial Law was born in response to the requirements of speed and certainty that commerce requires, requiring to know when this regulation is applied and the main differences with the general regulations of Private Law, without prejudice to recognizing its wide application in legal traffic in general. In this way, it is intended that the students can understand the field of application of the rules that govern commercial companies, their assets and their main legal businesses. Likewise, the students will be able to understand the regulations and operation of the securities, especially the promissory note, seeking that they can adequately advise on their use and on the exercise of the rights contained in these legal instruments, of daily use in all areas of activities.
